PERSONAL INFORMATION
Mr. Watts is a native of Lexington, South Carolina. He attended the College of Charleston as an undergraduate and received a Bachelor of Science in Special Education. He then attended the Graduate School at the University of South Carolina and received a Master's Degree in Special Education. Mr. Watts then taught for three years in Richland County School District One before entering the School of Law at the University of South Carolina. Upon Graduation, he became an Associate with the firm until becoming a partner of the firm in 2006.

Mr. Watts has obtained six figure recoveries for clients involved in motor vehicle collisions. He has a substantial record of obtaining favorable resolutions in Workers' Compensation claims through negotiations and by Commissioner awards subsequent to contested hearings. Mr. Watts has been and continues to be very active in criminal defense matters throughout the Pee Dee and South Carolina due to his extensive client representations and as 4th Circuit Representative of the South Carolina Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys. He has experience and success in defending clients charged with Murder, Drug/Controlled Substance Violations, Criminal Sexual Conduct, Criminal Domestic Violence, Driving Under the Influence (DUI), and other significant charges. Mr. Watts has experience working with law enforcement and prosecution agencies to obtain positive results for clients. He handles Federal, State (General Sessions), Magistrate, and Municipal criminal matters.

Mr. Watts is married to Jill Elizabeth Holley Watts, a native of Hartsville, South Carolina. They have two sons, Grant and Ford. The family resides in Hartsville.
